Celebration of homecoming week-end was still going on the 'following morning when the KHOW Kookers played the Flanum Faculty in a football game, that was sponsored by Ranum's band to raise money for a late January trip to the Parada Del Sol in Phoenix. Art Scott, Charlie Martin, Jim Nails Hinton, Hot dog Harold Moore, Bud Elliott, and leading scorer Kevin Prohaska were just a few of the celebrities from KHOW. The game also got aired over the radio from the mobile van that was stationed outside the stadium. The KHOW cheerleading section was lead by Marty herself with staff and friends helping her. Flanum's Marching Band performed at half-time and also raffled off a trip to Las Vegas which was won by one of Ft'anum's own flagtwirlers father. Concessions were also supplied by the band and all proceeds went to the band. Among a few of the unmentioned celebrities from Flanum were, Don Rhoda, Gene Zika, Flich Garifi, Ron Schumacher, Dominick Capra, Bob Mitchell, Linda Thrumpston, Billie Schroeder, and about 15 more teachers and staff were also there helping. Many thanks go to everyone from KHOW and from Flanum who made the football game a fun time for everyone. Kick the finger Hinton Farivar trips, stumbles, and rolls. Rhoda's pooped!!
