Un- usual or usual, deluded or sane, the members did distinguished things. Bill Zwerman, a class member in good stand- ing, wrote a scientifically fantastic Senior Play, The Night the Heirs Stood Still. The class of '53 produced it and went on to sponsor the Miss IHS Contest and to elect a participant in the DAR Good Citizenship Contest. They designed the Handbook, sponsored Senior Day, and man- aged their Banquet. The Senior Ball was orna- mented with underwater trappings and sunken ships. And with lovely memories, on the twenty- third of June, the distinguished Senior Class, en mane, graduated. U61
