The SGA was involved in a number of activities during the 1978-79 school year. These included: — Holding campus elections — Attending SCAM (Student Coun- cil Association of Mississippi) — the President ' s representing IJC on Governor ' s Youth Advisory Council — Assisting in selection of students to Who ' s Who in American Junior Colleges — Assisting with Homecoming Activities — Appointing students to serve on college committees — Planning and conducting the Gov- ernor ' s visit to campus — Setting up and working the Information Booth during Home- coming — Representing student interest by discussing student problems and concerns with the administration.
