GUIDANCE
To the Class of 1961:
It is a pleasure to offer congratulations
to you on the occasion of your high
school graduation. You are in the envious
position of having your productive life
ahead of you at a time when more op-
portunities are available than ever be-
fore. Not only do you occupy a position
of good fortune, but one of responsibility
as well; for you represent the adult soci-
ety of tomorrow. We hope that your high
school education has afforded you the
academic background necessary to meet
these responsibilities and to enter your
career with the ability to recognize op-
portunity.
Best of luck in your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
Richard C. Griffith
Congratulations to the Class of 1961:
I congratulate you on your successful
completion of high school. The years in
junior and senior high school have been
ones during which you have had to make
some rather important decisions. High
school planning, vocational, occupational
and educational problems had to be
solved and upon each occasion you have
tried your best to meet the challenge.
Now, as you leave Iroquois, you will
be entering a new phase in your life with
more demands on you from your commu-
nity, country, the world and perhaps
even space. In a sense you have become
freshmen again, but this time you will be
faced with broader problems and more
difficult decisions.
It is my sincere wish that whatever
you undertake you will be rewarded for
your efforts with good health and happi-
ness.
