President Fritey gave the annual Commencement Exercises held ir Baccalaureate Sen ices began in the tra- ditional manner with a faculty and senior class procession to the State Gymnasiinn. Dr. Jack Finegan, head of New and Old Testament Literatine at the Pacific School of Religion and formerly at Iowa State, pre- sented the sermon. On the afternoon follow- ing the Baccalaineate Services, President Oharles E. Friley held his reception for the graduating class. At the seventy-seventh annual Commencement Progiam, Iowa State College awarded 770 degrees to giadiiating seniors and ad anced students in all ciu - ricida. 20
