Senior Baseball The varsity, competently coached by Father Bray and his assistants Ted Shaw and Richard Kashi- waeda, has the makings of a good team and should eventually develop into a serious contender for the prep title. The boys show enthusiasm and are a confident group. Returning lettermen Ben A1- madova, Ed lnoshita, Clifford jinbo, Hollis Ho, Eric Watanabe and Charles Yamanaka should be ably assisted by such newcomers as Noboru Yona- mine, Stanley Zukeran, Wallace Sugimoto, Doug- las Matsuoka, Wallace Okazaki, Thomas Muro- take, and Edward Motoyama .This year's team appears to be well balanced according to pre sea- son tilts. The hitting, pitching and fielding de- partments look especially promising. Veterans like Jinbo, Almadova, and Inoshita should steady the team. 76 lst ROW: C. Yamanaka, W. Suglmow. M- MOUOYlma. S.
