G. llu luiissinei FRESHMAN CLASS The Freshmen began their second semester by electing Allan Mcliillop president and. despite this late start. were able to make the past year a banner one. The splendid cooperation from every member of the lireshman Class was greatly appreciated by the entire school. Their record in scholastic achievements and extra curricular activities has been outstanding. Many of them were taking up new and difficult subjects but came through with flying colors, as the honor roll will corroborate. Sports took a big place in the lives of all lolani students whether on the elementary. intermediate. or high school level. After the close of a successful football season. basketball came in and was in turn followed by baseball. ln these games. they learned good sportsmanship as well as clean fun. especially in basketball. as the junior team was composed chiefly of Freshmen. A defeat didnt discourage or anger them. but rather spurred them on. Their all-around ability will make itself felt in the years ahead.
