'iophomore class officers: C, Muroda, R. Wonn, G, Chang, E. Itoga, H. Lee SOPHO ORE CLASS The climax of their freshman year found what was probably the largest class in Iolani history undergoing the usual campaign speeches and the election of class and student body ofiicers for this year. After the haze of balloting cleared, Gerald Chang emerged as President. Other otlicers were Richard Wong, Vice-Presidentg Herbert Lee. Secretary. and Edward ltoga, Treasurer. Through various organized committees. they staged, during the year, a program consisting wholly of Sophomores. A Sophomore edition of the lmua Iolani was also published successfully. The Sophomores promise that as juniors and co-leaders of the school, they will attempt to set an outstanding example of active-minded students for the future leaders of our school to follow. They will also try to prove that the valuable time of their able advisors. Mrs. XVinnie and Miss Stefien, and their counsellor Mr. Matsinger has not been expended in vain.
