,ps Y' NA ALII O IOLANP' What lies ahead of them is hidden in the realm of Destiny. Whtit is left behind them is but a memory. The prominence of the class of l946 needs no introduction. This class was born in 1942 at the very outbreak of the war and upon its shoulders rested the burden of being Na Alii O Iolanin. They rallied. organized. and formed the nucleus that was to rebuild the former Iolani No Ka Oc . The organization of the once disbanded Iolani High School was accomplished. They were created to rebuild, and this they did. But all that they contributed to her, they were repaid more than twofold. They have been enriched in experience and knowledge of leadership through their nourishing love and loyalty. Year by year they have grown, progressing ever forward scholastically, and gaining prestige on the helds of athletics. Now, because all good things must come to an end, they can look back upon their accomplishments and watch them bear fruit. They have done their best for Iolani but there will always be others who will follow and carry on. Upon the threshold they stand, viewing the fruits of their endeavors.
