unior Class History HO-OO Hum-m-m-m! Where are we? At Intermountain Union College! Well, what are we and how many of us are there? We're Freshmen and there are ninety-six of of us, and we're the largest class that has ever entered this College. What are we here for? Oh, the Sophomores will show us! They don't show us so much that it seriously disturbs our slumbers. We wear our green caps and arouse occasionally to participate creditably in some scrap with the Sophomores. We cheer at the games and take part in school activities, thus helping to make a name for old I. U. C. We also hold up the standards of our Alma Mater scholastically. Then we settle back for another nap. Ho-hum-m-m. Ho, you say we are Sophomores, we must get to work and show the Freshmen what college is. How many of us are there this year? There are just fifty-six you say, but one hundred and fifty-six in pep and enthusiasm. The Freshmen are apt learners and are soon taught the ways of the school. Of course we have some few difficulties with them, but as a whole they are quite willing. We again scrap with our fellow students in wholesome play and give of our best to the school and its activities. At the close of the year, we settle for another snooze, for soon we must wake up to the responsibilities of Juniors and assume the dignity of upper classmen. We close our Sophomore year proud of the fact that we are the only class in the history of Intermountain that has won the Freshman-Sophomore debate both years and proud also in being the only class to win the tug-of-war both times. Ho-hum-m-m-m-m. W'hat, you say we have slept through the fall and winter terms and that now the Seniors have put on caps and gowns? They are rather early in taking this great honor so now we awake never to sleep again. Our heads are filled with plannings and schemings for such a trick can not be passed lightly. They have taken advantage of us while we are rushing madly about to put out the annual book of the College. They do not escape free even if we were asleep and the rest of the year is filled with good natured scraps. We come to the end of our Junior year fully aroused to our responsibility as students, and look forward with great anticipation to our Senior year.
