Senior J4onor (J3oarJ Inaugurated in '45, the Senior Honor Board, composed of twenty-five Senior boys and twenty-five Senior girls — selected as Juniors through their outstanding leadership records — is one of the leading service organizations at Inglewood High. Serving the school in various capacities, the Honor Board's chief duty is the maintenance of campus traffic control between periods and at noon. Of course, all you Sentinels have heard the familiar saying, ' Other stairway down, please.” Which way do you go — or need we say more??? Asked to serve at a Teachers' Institute Luncheon held in the Study Hall on the afternoon of the Beverly Hills game, an opportunity was provided for the sponsors to discover either the loyal and energetic members or the football haters of the group. But—on the P.T.A. Back-to-School Night, everyone turned out in full force to guide rhe bewildered parents to their classes and to laugh at their feeble and exhausted efforts to climb (or crawl up) the stairs. Participating in the Hi Jinks, the girls of the Honor Board thought it appropriate to put on a refined, uplifting skit to show the outstanding characteristics and morals of the group. The result a tavern scene — but all in fun! An annual banquet — the Senior Honor Board's one social event of the year — was held at the Switzerland, one of the most picturesque restaurants in Los Angeles. The Student Body wishes to thank the Senior Honor Board for serving graciously whenever needed, and executing their duties to the utmost. OFFICERS Presidents BILL FOWKES, DAVID KOONS Vice-Presidents MONA LEE ROBERTS, ED DOMBROWSKI Secretaries SALLY TACKETT, MONA LEE ROBERTS Adviser MRS. LOIS T. STEGEN
