Inglemoor’s 1979 Boys Tennis Team displayed more balanced skill and ability this year than in the past. The team consisted mostly of new talent, as Will Burgett was the sole returning player. Some other outstanding players were Sophomore Alan Sharp, Juniors Mooty Siemer and Freddie DelaCruz and Senior Brian Sharp. Coach Jim Guier felt that the team possessed good depth as well as excellent sportsmanship. He also commented that the squad had better luck with the weather than other years. Next year looks bright for the Boys’ Tennis Team as they will have many returning players.
