Girls Enthusiastic This year, Inglemoor’s Girls’ Varsity Basketball Team, coached for the first year by Mr. Jerry Rhodes, ended the season on a positive note by winning 6 out of their 8 last games. They beat arch-rival Bothell 54-39. Mr. Rhodes is confident that they will go all the way to state next year. Coached by Miss Sally Mitchell, the J V team had a season of 9 wins and 8 losses. The girls improved their skills quite a bit and enjoyed themselves at the same time. The team also was victorious over Bothell. Captain of the season was Mary Moore. Most Inspirational was Julie Schick, and Most Im- proved was Lynn Houg. Special thanks go to Laura Ramsey, statistioner. and to Vanessa Ashe, a very inspiring manager. 1. Kim Faucher. LouAnn Gregory shows girls can do it too. Gutter Successful is the word to sum up our bowling teams this year. The Varsity Girls squad captured an unprecidented first place with 22 wins and 2 losses. They were led by Joni Halvorson with a 151 average. Margie Gray had an unequaled 210 high game in KingCo this year. Boys Varsity this year tied Newport for first with 26 wins and 7 losses, but a roll-off declared Newport winners much to the surprise of Coach Wayne Bradford. Viking Jeff Baker had KingCo high series with 645 and Rick Jones high game 242. In Boys J.V. action we were nudged out for first place but took second respectively with 19 wins and 8 losses. Wayne Gates had KingCo J.V. high game 242. The Girls J.V. captured fifth place with. 9 wins and 12 losses. Our team this year went to state and placed very well. 5
