Building the student’s future was the main goal of the business department this year. The staff gave the students an insight to obtaining jobs and how to make it on their own. Mrs. Anne Mitchell, the Department Head, established a new Statement of proficiency, available to those students who earned a “B” or above in any of the graphic arts, typing, and accounting classes. When given along with a job application it can look really good,” commented Mrs. Mitchell. Teaching student to run businesses as the major objective of the Inglemoor DECA. under the super- vision of Mr. Bob Boesche. Their Gift Wrap Shop located at the Northgate Mall had another successful year. A new face in the Art department was Miss Julie Palm, who taught art, photography, and was the adviser to the annual staff. Some other classes offered by the Art Department were ceramics, calligraphy, machine shop, drafting and welding. 1. Mrs. Sue Knowles has a good time with her putty. 2. During lunch.
