Math and Science . . . Pam Lowry A cooperative effort in showing the relation- ship between Math and Science was the key goal for this year. Math classes were full; as students prepared for College or future careers. Mr. Ron Rominick, a new teacher this year, taught several additional Algebra and Practical Math classes. There was also a new Statistics class, taught by Mr. Larry Bond, which was useful to students interested in Business or Scientific careers. Math teachers tried to provide college-bound students with a good mathematical background. The Science Department concentrated on improvement of reading comprehension, to help students understand more of the material. Addi- tional chemistry classes were offered, including Chemistry Alternate and Qualitative Analysis, a new class taught by Mr. Larry Gulberg. Teachers thought of their classes as a means of better understanding and a chance for those who wanted to learn.
