Unique Officers Do you know what your ASB docs daily during 6th period? Well, besides watching the cheerleaders, who practice during that hour, they try to get their planning done. Homecoming . . . Jog-A-Thon . . . improving the student center ... are just a few of the things the ASB has sponsored this year. Mr. Roger Jewell. ASB Adviser, said that this year's officers were a great group to work with, even though they did drive him bananas several times. Jewell’s job as Adviser was made easier, as Mrs. Karen Yoshioka took over the chore of working with all the money that came into the school. She and ASB Treasurer, Teresa Goetz and Business Manager, Elisa Fowler; counted all the money they received from the student store and various clubs, balanced the books and paid all bills. She commented that she really enjoyed the job and liked working with the officers. The goals of the officers were to keep the student body involved in many activities and, in addition, to go down in history as the best ASB officers in Inglemoor’s existence. They surpassed this goal with their witty intercom interrup- tions and other various antics. The approach to their jobs was: Be Original! This created a bond of school spirit that united the students of Inglemoor. GIRLS -T1 -

The memorable 78-’79 year began for the cheerleaders during the summer at cheer camp. There they learned many new cheers and stunts to bring back to Viking territory. Under the supervision of Mrs. Barbara Marta, these spirited girls have been running around campus giving their Viking Power to the teams and student body throughout the year. The phrase wild and crazy chicks was not used mildly. They always had something up their sleeves, such as providing rolls and rolls of T.P. to decorate the houses of the football players. To quench the team's thirst after a hard practice the cheerleaders supplied gallons of Kool-aid to fill the towel bins. These cheerleaders cheered the Vikings on to many victories showing that their spirit is sky high. Inglemoor will never forget this special group of girls as these girls will never forget the fun and exciting moments at IHS. Cheer 15

Vice-President Craig Kelly finds that really cosmic thoughts flow into his head in the “Orkan position. 3. Elisa Fowler and Theresa Goetz discreetly embezzle ASB funds. 4. Shauna Lilly, ASB Secretary, demonstrates the effectiveness of the Hunt and Peck method. 5. Does President Eric Lucks see something more in Secretary Lilly than her typing ability? And why is Vice-President Craig Kelly on top of the file cabinet with a camera and tape recorder? ... is that Treasurer Theresa Goetz selling top secret information about l.H.S. to Business Manager Elisa Fowler? . . and why are Athletic Council persons. Dave Allemeier and Kelleen Sparks sneaking into the school? Actually - only the officers know! 6. The unique ASB officers have ways of making ASB Adviser Mr. Roger Jewell go along with their ideas. 7. Athletic Councilperson, Dave Allemeier presses weights to keep in shape for selling tickets to the rowdy Vikings.
