Little 5, Weekend A month before Little 500 Wfeekend of 1966 got underway, Qualifications narrowed the contenders to 33 QBatman was disqualified for pedaling through the intieldl. and the announcement of the perform- ers for the Variety Show brought protest from all sides. Variety Show jokes hecame the rage. But for those who stayed, Little 500 VVeek- end turned out to he. as it traditionally is, The Worlds Greatest College Xlieekendfl Slamminy Sammy Snead was the headliner at the Golf Jamboree and finished ahead of his compet- itors with a tliree-over-par 74.
