WITH FALL COMES A BEGINNING, THE WONDEROUS BEAUTY OF LIFE IS EVERYWHERE AS COLL EGE OFFERS THE FIRST STEPS ALONG THE PATH OF UNDERSTANDING. 2C

Page 29 text:

The picture of our University is yet incomplete. We have presented a mere shell— three common and visible dimensions— not a real and living world. Time breathes life into oin •orld and immedi- ately becomes a constant part of our experiences. We find otnselves operating within its confines, season to season, day to day, and hour to hour. Time has its dimensional quality too. We nor- mally think of a dimension as a projection from a point; so we may project Time from the point— 1957, creating our fourth dimension. This fourth dimension gives us a chance to corre- late our college careers w ' ith a lifetime. In every waking hour we amplify our framework of life by adding a ne v e ent or experience. Much of our education can be applied directly to a future job; TIME the rest builds our self-confidence to face challenge and question. We select our co-workers with much the same mature judgment of a fiuure employer- employee relationship. We choose our dearest com- panions with the hope of creating lasting friend- ships. The beauty of the campus in a particular season gives us the cognizance of an Almighty PoAver and assmes us of an Eternal Partner. Religiotis ac- tivities help us face an unrehearsed future. In our serious quest of the future we project into a fourth dimension the seasons and hours of 1957.
