The sound first reaches Maxwell Hall (1890), and then the Library (1907). People in the llnion Building (1932) hear the hour only a second belore the hour is announced to the Administration Building (1936). Near the corner oi Third and Indiana . venue two workers standing in the muddy bottom of a large hole-Law Building (195fi)-hear the hour. One of them looks at his watch. 11
