This volume of the Arbutus is more than a mere chronicle of the events and people of our campus during the past year — it is the 108th chapter of a much greater record, the history of Indiana University. Recent events at our school have been memorable. A great building program, changes and improvements in all depart- ments, and the many honors that have come to the University and its children have all served to produce a finer and richer harmony of the whole.
