Indiana Centennial Pageant INTENSE with colour, light, and motion, the Pageant cele- brating the Centennial of Indiana University will remain in our minds above all else for its sheer beauty. To see those glowing, vibrating lines of dancers in their flowing draperies of gold and blue, crimson and purple, come streaming out from the soft green o( the pines was to know the ioy of living. The mass effects had the richness of brilliant tapestries. The processionals across the rich background sparkled like iewels streaming across velvet. Sunlight and colour; the poetry of rhythmic motion; beauty — such was the Pageant of 1 20.
