BRUCE LINDSEY BUTLER The Fox became a legend at ISS in his own time. Sometimes known as the Mad Bomber. Bruce found time to mastermaid almost all the pranks ever committed at Springs. Butler played soccer, ping-pong, and was co-editor of the yearbook. STANLEY DOWE BYNUM St in the Spider was an excellent student and a good mayor. He was on the basketball and tennis teams, was a Glee Club officer, and blew his horn. Stan's dining hall announcements were pleasantly informal, though sometimes inaudible. JAMES WESLEY CLOWER III Jim was the onlv person who ever tried to surf on the ISS lake. He sang in the Glee Club; play ed soccer, and was a prankster. Clower managed to get out of two final exams by staging a fake appendicitis attack. 6

JACKSON HOLT BIRDSONG Bird antedated the Beatles by two years in his hair style. He was only forty pounds underweight but had the lowest voice in the school. Ja' Bird won a Merit Scholarship and was Council Secretary. He plans a postgraduate year at the Springs to catch up on all the P. E. he missed. “No, Coach, I haven’t stolen any weights.” ALBERT MICHAEL BRONSON Doormouse attended Springs for two years. He was Commissioner of Services, Photo Editor of the old ISSINFO and Editor of the KHALAS. Boo was a member of the Trojans and the Mon-dav-Night-at-the-Movies Club. DONALD ELLARD BRUNSON Deeb was a quiet boy who concentrated on his projected translation of the Aeneid. He was a good student and also specialized in soccer, track, and breaking bones.

JEFFREY HENRY COHN Jeff's girl-rating svstem was so severe that Sophia Loren got only a B+. He was one of the hardest-working boys in school and could be depended upon. Conn edited the ISSINFO and was an officer in the Glee Club and class government. “1 can get it for you wholesale.” JOHN CARTER COLLINS Puppy Dog was Commissioner of Development and a soccer player, but his forte was telling long, intriguing, and often pointless stories. Mr. Moeck thought John excellent in the way he Frenched his horn. P-Dog will be only Dartmouth graduate to major in Dragging. JAMES EDMUND DAVIS JaDe was one of the meekest boys at school The sign of the brown Chew II was always Jimmy’s signal to turn on the charm. He was a star fullback on the soccer team, an ace bass in the Glee Club and a baseball fellow. |’s strong personality and arms will see him well through 7
