He is the top scorer in the Henlopen Conference and is among the top three scorers in the state. Leading rebounder, Vada larmon, has also become one of the best centers in the conference. Coming in the last half of the season, Floyd Griffin became one of the top rebounders and adds extra inside scoring. Back-up guard, Bryan Marshall was a good shooter and ball handler who was a valuable replacement. Steve Wootten, back-up center and occasional starter, added much depth to the inside and also kept the starters on their toes. Reserve guard and occasional starter, Wayne Handy, was a fine outside shooter and a good ball handler. Playing for his first year William Daisey, was another back-up center. He was a real asset to the team with his aggressive defense and strong rebounding. Nate Purnell, also a back-up center gave added strength inside. George Empty and Ronnie Dickerson, both reserve forwards, had good hustle and are good all-around players. Brian Andrews, a backup guard, was a hard worker and a good hustler.
