Getting expressive photo- graphs of these people was our next challenge. What a challenge! The book was designed simply in chronological order. The rules said every picture had to have a caption, so theyare all there. Jour- nalistic masterpieces they are not! But they are there With Margie Fogg and her magic shoe box, we tried todevelop an index recording every students appearances in the book. Thanks, Mar- gie, but our organization wasrft the best, so . . . maybe next year an index. BUT e there IS a general index on page 160, so you can ac- tually find things in this Legend! However, this year has not been completely made up of serious decision-making. Cyndy often burned tea in the office, Jenny made iChiCken-man, posters, while Margie and Bill drew on shirts. We all generally made fools of ourselves at some time or other. Even though Mrs. Crawford was hung up, on a dancing motif, and Mr. Chiara, the yearbook representative, was too funny to care about our crazy staff, we feel they each deserve much thanks for their time and effort. How they stand it year after year is beyond us! One school year a from September to June a is wrapped up in these 160 pages. We sincerely hope that this LEGEND has honest- ly Shown THE PEOPLE OF IHHS and WHAT THEY DID in 1969-70. Annella Lanham, Copy Editor Nancy Smith, Editor-in-Chief 161 . gm of t4e ' 3W PIANO solo BY R.
