Three different groups of people are very important to the functioning of the high school. These groups are the Boosters, the Parent-Teacher Association, and the Board of Education. The Boosters help to finance school activities, such as Boys ' State. Girls ' State, and AFS, and provide someone else to turn to when an organization needs encouragement and support. The P.T.A. promotes cooperation between parents and faculty, operates the Book Store, conducts Open House and College Night, sponsors the Scholarship Banquet, and finances AFS. This year the P.T.A. promoted and conducted several informative workshops on the subject of drug addiction. The Board of Education meets regularly to determine the policies of the school system and the place of the schools in the community. Dr. James Sailer. Superintendent Mr. Carl Moran.
