Becky Ahmann. Mike Haggerty, and Chorus presented a dramatic reading of Don Brown ' s Body which told of the disadvantages of murder at the YMCA. This year saw the addition of a balance beam routine, a parallel bars exhibition, and a sword dance to the program. Mr. Snapp and Mr. Kincaid combined the standard features of Pow Wow with new ideas and came up with an extravaganza of talent. 23

Olympic Day Survives Rain Clouds, Broken Rope, and Damaged Tricycles Yes siree, folks! Again this year IH indulged in the super-groovy, fantabulous Olympic Day. Anxiously awaited by both faculty and students alike, the big day arrived trailing clouds of possible rain. However, the rams held off and the juniors ran, tricycled, jumped, and rolled their way to victory to the overwhelming dismay of the saddened seniors. Notwithstanding their severe disappointment, the seniors managed to tie the faculty in the annual baseball game. A new event, the toilet paper race, was added and transformed the athletic field into the city dump. Lyn Bidwell and Jack Martin kept their title as champion EggTossers as they tied for first place, and extended their winning streak to three years. As usual, the rope in the tug-of-war broke, spilling junior and senior girls all over the ground . another delightful Indian Hill Tradition. But perhaps the most absorbing activity of the day was cataloguing which teachers wore shorts . Enjoy your rope burns, girls! Ah, the sweet taste of victory! 27
