Shape up, Buddy. The Indian Hill Rangers wouldn ' t handle It this way! Students who wear boots are bound to get into trouble. Murder Makes for a Captive Audience Reserve Two for Murder was the most unusual play ever presented by Indian Hill students. The unique performance was equalled only by its dra- matic advertising: displaying a hanged man drip- ping blood into the school garden. The play began normally, but was interrupted when a member of the audience murdered one of the actors. The po- lice were called in and everyone was ordered not to leave the auditorium. As detectives tried to solve the case, they asked the audience to vote on who did the murder; however, the plot was so intricate that the revelation of the killer was a complete sur- prise. Miss Selzer outdid herself in this startling selection, and the Juniors presented the difficult production with great skill. Abracadabra, alakazam! Gee, he disappeared at re- hearsal. 21

Pow Wow ' 68, Spotlight on Music. featured the usual singmgand dancing, but spiced up the performance with a series of short skits on the always controversial subject of politics. In a parody of the Huntley-Brinkley News Broadcast, Doug Lovett and Randy Shepard gave the audience so me insight into the ways and wiles of election year politics, plus some provocative material for thought. (Before you saw the Pow Wow, had you ever considered Ethel Kennedy ' s outstanding qualifications for Secretary of Labor?) In two short hours one learned of the reactions of various ordinary citizens such as an Indian chief, a farmer, a former President, and Maudie Frickerttothe upcoming political contest. And . . . commercials so that the audience would feel at home. The Horse Chorus returns! 23
