Prior to INCHON, he was Command Master Chief of the Naval Prepatory School at Newport, Rhode Island. His personal awards include, two Navy Commendation Medals, and four Navy Achievement Medals. Master Chief Sorady and his wife Cathy have three daughters, Ashly, Ellyse, and Laura.
