jerry was one of the mainstays of Imperial Valley 'Iiigers Varsity team. leading the league in scoring ahilitv. Ilis average per game was 17.1. which has insured him a place on the All-Valley team. His position on the team went from center. which was his main position on the team. to forward or guard. Jerryis best game was his first game against El Centro in which we won. CHARLES BROWN Imperial to its lopsided victory. Bill Perkins came here from Wisconsin, and most of the people in Imperial are happy that he did. Bill was very accurate from the sides with his jump shots. He was also verv good at getting rebounds. Charles Brown was the sparkplug of the Imperial team. He never gave up and he helped to keep the spirits of the whole team up. Charlie was very accurate on his long set shots and made many points which helped the team to victory. Brown played his best game against Brawley, and helped JERRY LOFTIS BILL PERKINS

Ile saw a lot of actiim and played a lot of grind hall hut had some had luck in the first three played his liest ggaines uf the year in helping: tht- er to play' for the Tigers in the history' of the y ear was Don Barioni was the first string forward and shot mostly from the sides. He didnit start in the Brawley' game heeause nf a had leg. but the next week against El Centro he played a hard game and could really claim his share uf the victory.
