Our school and commumty was saddened by the death of Ferdmand C Eck on june 3 1951 Mr Eck was the superintendent for four years 1943 47 and was xnstructor of mathe mat1cs sc1ence and shop durumg those four years He was a member of the school board at the t1me of Ins death Many of the alumm w1ll remember Mr Eck as the Jov1al 1nstruc'cor who was always ready anyone who needed lt In Memoriam On the evemng of September 30 1951 the school and commumty was shocked to hear of the death of George L Warner Radar Seaman 2 c of the Umted States Navy George Bud was graduated from the Hyann1s Hxgh School ln 1949 He was an outstandmg basketball and track star durxng h1s four years 1n Hyann1s I-hgh School Bud w1l1 always be remembered by h1s fr1ends as a happy young fellow who always wore a fr1endly sm11e to give freely of his time and effort to help X ' .
