Sneak Trzp W1th one of America s most famous skyhnes as a backdrop for our bxg adventure we Semors of 52 spent our sneak tr1p surrounded by Mormon culture The beauty of plac1d lakes thundermg waterfalls and rugged mounta1n scenery preceded our entrance 1nto Salt Lake C1ty where we spent much of our txme marvehng at the charm and grace of Mormon arch1tecture In the heart of the city enclosed Wlthlh the Temple Square we saw the famed Tabernacle and Assembly Hall as well as the Temple The boys were particularly interested in the great salt flats where t1med auto races are run and we all enjoyed the vismt to the copper mines 1n Bmgham Utah We really got enough salt at the Great Salt Lake where for once we d1dn t have to struggle so hard to keep our heads above water Those Mormons almost had us sold on Utah but when we saw those fam1l1ar hills of Hyannis rising on the horizon we got a warm glow of happ1ness Our town may not be the best place to spend a sneak tr1p but this much w11l always be true for us it s home X n . 0 . n .
