LAURA ANN SMITH nshe is a winsome wee thing. She is a handsome wee thing. She is a honny wee thing. ' Although small, Laura Ann has many tal- ents. One of these is dancing, and she has shown her skill in many school programs. She has been a member of the Spanish Club, the Glee Club, and the Black Team in her five years here. In the tenth grade she was a SIGNPOST reporter, and in the eleventh grade she was an Honor Council represen- tative. PEGGY ROSS True wit is nature to advantage clressectf' In Peggy's six years at Hutchisonis she has skillfully handled many activities, as member of the Honor Council, secretary of the ninth grade, tenth grade reporter to the SIGN- POST, vice-president of the Athletic Associa- tion, vice-president of the Black Team, and as co-editor of The SIGNPOST for two years. SARA RICH HA Dresden beauty of rare Daintiness and charm. Sara is not only one of the most attractive girls of the class of '52, but also one of the best liked. She has been a Student Council representative and has worked hard in many of the Couneil's activities. This year she is vice-president of her elass, Red Cross repre- sentative, and treasurer of the Spanish Club. She is a duehess of the Cotton Carnival representing the school at the Children's Ball. fc 0 -I u tnly Four NANCY R ANSC JNI nlfer smile is the sweetest that ever was soenf, Nancy is one ol' those rare creatures who always seems happy and is smiling at the world. Since she came to our sehool in the eleventh grade, she has become an integral part of school life, as president of the Spanish Club, contributing editor of The LANTERN, and representative to the Student Council. She is vice-president of the National Honor Society and a member of Quill and Seroll. She was voted A'Friendliest in Whois Who and is president of Glee Club.

As a senior she is a mem- ber of the French Club, Feature Editor of the SIGNPOST, and the chairman of the Red Cross. Kay has worked hard on whatever she has undertaken and has gained many lasting friends since she entered Hutchison's in the ninth grade. She was an Honor Council representative last year, and this year she is a member of the Gold Team and the Spanish Club. When anyone is as pleasant as Kay, she is bound to always be in demand.
