As a freshman she was Red Cross representative, cheerleader for the Black Team, and a mcrnber of the Glee Club. In her second year she was Student Council reprcsentativc. As a junior she was president of her class, a member of the Freneh Club, and was tapped for IIlC'IIll'1l'l'- ship in the Honor Socicty. Her first year she won the TIME award for the tenth grade, and citizenship and scholarship awards. As a junior she was treasurer of the class, assis- tant editor of the LANTERN, and a meni- ber of the Quill and Serollg and she was tapped for the Honor Society. She is a member of the Gold Team and was a Gold cheerleader in the ninth grade. She did an excellent job as Red Cross representative in the tenth grade. She is a eheerleader this year and a school representative in the Cotton Carnival Royalty. She has held many other im- portant offices during her thirteen years at Hutchison's. In the eighth grade, she was vice-president of her elass, secretary of the Junior Student Council, a member of the Blaek Team and the Glee Club. She was president of the ninth grade, tenth grade representative to the Student Council, and an eleventh grade cheer leader for the Blacks and Vice-President of the Spanish Club. Page 1

She has been a Gold Cheerleader and a Hutchison's eheerleader for three years. She has also shown her spirit in salesmanship as assistant advertising manager of the LAN- TERN in her junior year and as the advertis- ing manager this year. She has been a mem- ber of the Glee Cluh and secretary-treasurer of the Spanish Cluh. ANN HOXN'lil.I. Ulfnough worle to do. and strength onouglu to do tlle worlef' Ann is the only real intellectual among the seniors, she reads everything and any- thing, as proved by her winning the Time Tests in both her junior and senior years. Ann is a very thoughtful and understanding person on whom one ean always depend. In the ninth grade she was in May Day, Field Day, Glee Club, and on the Black Team. She was honor Council representative from the tenth grade. She has distinguished herself by serving as both the reporter for the SIGN POST and Senior Editor of the LANTERN her last two years, displaying her interest and talent in journalism. Page Nl I
