talk about science in our life. Movies are also Science Club The purpose of the science club is to give those students, interested in science, a chance to get together and work on their common interests. Promoting new and stronger science interests is another big job of the club. By allowing the students to use the equipment available in the lab, the club enables the students to enrich their knowledge. The science club meets every first Monday of the month. At these meetings the students are given the opportunity to further their education by listening to many very interesting speakers shown to the students. Above: Student Experiment by .lohn Geiss, Jeff Hayden, and Sherwood Reed. Every two years the science club takes a trip to a place chosen by the students. Last year the club went through the Chemistry Department at the University of Minnesota and' through the Ford plant at St. Paul. Jerome Burdorf has charge of the club as the President. John Geiss, Vice-President, is a big help to him. The Secretary of the science club is our foreign stu- dent, Winnie Link.
