Future Farmers of America Promote American Agriculture The Huron FFA chapter worked on a variety of projects this year including completing work on the animal nursery at the state fair. Apples and citrus fruit were sold in November and December to raise money. Throughout the year, members participated in judging contests taking top honors at the Corn Palace Ag Expo and also at the District Six judging con- test at Redfield. HERO STATE CO VE TIO HELD H RO The HERO CHome Economics and Related Occupationsl members were busy preparing for the State Convention which was held in the Huron Senior High auditorium in the fall of 1977. They also served the Executive Council Dinner here. Some members went to Salem, South Dakota, for the Regional meeting. Toward the end of the year, they planned a end-of-the-year picnic.
