It got off to a good start by having an enrollment of ap- proximately 140, the largest in the history of the school. Other accomplishments of this noteworth class have been: being the first freshman class to elect its candidate, Miss Donna Raye Boyd, as Homecoming queen, placing second inthe library queens contest with Miss Wilma Todd as candidate, being be- lieved by many to have better class spirit than any in the school.
