This center provides for the ad- ministration and utilization of materials and equipment for individual faculty and student body members. Orien- tation sessions to the media center and its services are provided early in the school year. Library handbooks are provided for the faculty and staff members. ln addition to full-time library duties, the librarians also teach a library science course. First Amuariicofeef The guidance program at Huntington High School is flexible so as to meet the immediate needs of the stu- dents. lt seeks to help pupils improve their adjustment to school and develop skills for dealing more successfully with the problems encountered after leaving school. The team approach is utilized with administration, counselors, teachers, and parents in seeking to understand and help students. The Vocational AgriculturefAgribusiness Program at Huntington High School is open to any student electing to enroll. The program provides for the supervision of student-initiated home projects for the purpose of put- ting theory into practice. All students are urged to continue once they enter the program, particularly those with projects and ties with FFA. The program also includes activities of interest to adult and out-of- school youth. AgriculturefAgribusiness reference books and ma- terials are provided in a wide range of difficulty and variety to meet the needs and interests of students. The variety consists of publications prepared by the U. S. Department of Agriculture, the State Department of Agriculture, and state adapted texts, as well as other publications containing information of value in the teaching-learning process.
