OUR FIRST COUNCIL Although the expression student council or student association is new to Hunting- ton East, the basic idea is centuries old. Our Student Association is composed ol a Council and ci Cabinet. The Council is made up ol representatives and their alter- nates from each home room and the cabinet. The meetings are held every Monday in the Trade School Auditorium on alter- nating class periods.

The duties ot the cabinet are to perform all the responsi- bilities oi the Student Association, to schedule the meetings oi the cabinet and council, to consider suggestions ot its members and to plan the agenda for the student council.
