Dr. Elmer Becker President ln the twenty-two years of Dr. Becker's presi- dency, the Huntington College campus has undergone significant changes. The most obvious alteration is in The number ot buildings com- prising the college. Another area of accomplish- ment is the great increase of enrollment and taculty members during his administration. Yet, the outstanding achievement of Dr. Beckers years of service is the accreditation that the col- lege received in 1961. At this time the college qualified for membership in the North Central Association ot Colleges and Secondary Schools. Hence, the college is novv a recognized institu- tion ot higher learning.
