4 X-Y Left: Roberta Lootens, Betty Eckert and Donald Bartrorn, Above: Eileen Ehinger, The Senior Class of '55 under the direction of Father James Conroy, Father Charles Ueber, and Sister Mary Theodora, gave the play, The Little Dog Laughed on November 21 and Z2 in Saints Peter and Paul Auditorium. The play is a three act comedy written by Vera and Ken Tarpley. The plot of the play revolves around Laurie Huntington, a college student in Psychology. During her summer vacation Laurie decides to give the Zombroski Ink Blot test to her mother's friends to determine their personalities as practice. Besides insulting the ladies she caused her mother to become unnerved and in- terfers with her fathers chances of improving his business. But in spite of all the confusion and unhappiness the Huntington's trials and tribulations are over- come through mutual understanding. The part of Laurie Huntington was played by Dolores Young and Eileen Ehinger. Her parents, Martha Huntington and Sidney Huntington were portrayed by Maryln PeGan and Roberta Lootens, and Robert Kelker. The part of Wally Huntington, Laurie's adolescent brother and a typical teenager, was very ably played by Donald Bartrom. Marilyn Kapp and. Larry B. Scheiber kept the audience laughing as they enacted the parts of Gus QMiss Gustaveskyl and Horatio P. Honeywell. Gus was the Huntington's maid and Horatio P. Honeywell was her birdman. Joan Wood, Wally Huntington's girls friend, was played by Betty Eckert. Ted Wood, Joan's father and Mr. Huntington's competitor in the used car business, was enacted by Raymond Johnson. Mary Ann Kelker portrayed the part of Lil- lian Wood, Joan's mother. Mark Bradford, characterized by Wallace Stoffel, was J0an's cousin and Laurie's boy friend. The ladies, who so expertly failed the Zombrowski Ink Blot test were Sharon Landrigan as Mrs. Amelia Dennis, Sondra Bickel as Mrs. Caroline Blakesley, Carol Harvey as Mrs. Grace Schoenbleck, June Stoffel as Mrs. Walola Brecken- ridge and Sarah Welches as Miss Therese Brown.
