They provided enjoyment for the spectators and incentive for the team when playing for football and basketball games. In addition to this, the band accompanied the formations and put on a program for Class Night. This was the last year for the following graduating members of the band: Sharon Byrne, Sheila Curtis, Carol Gillespie, Elizabeth Hague, Sheila Hoff, Roger Miller, Jean Rose, Frank Schwimmer, and Linda Vann.

This year, due to the ninth grade in the Hunter building being transferred to the Tannersville building, those officers and representatives from Hunter are on the Student Councilg and the Junior Student Council has been discontinued. Mr. Arthur Hague is the faculty advisor.
