New Math NOW Part of Curriculum at Hughes The new mathematics curriculum at Hughes is organized so as to allow students to pursue the study of mathematics at their own level for four years, if desired. Some students find success in general mathematics, mpdem mathematics, and consumer mathematics. Those interested in business find business arithmetic just what they need. Academic classes satisfy students' requirements for college preparation with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and even calculus, in the accelerated program. Marilyn Tilford, Alice Brand, Jerry Tepe, and Joyce Beckman, in Miss Kloaids advanced malh class, illustrate a paint in space by refer- ence to the X, Y, and Z axes.
