English Department Values Contribution of Library The English Department equips the students with a work- ing knowledge of English. In English classes, students de- velop an extensive vocabulary for everyday use. Selected poetry, many novels, other literary works, such as the plays of Shakespeare, and examples of contemporary drama are studied. Courses in dramatics, speech and journalism are offered also. In the reading program, students increase their Speed and comprehension.
