Moreover, Cad is a friend, warm and true, and his word is as good as his bond. You would expect at man of such perfection to he impervious to Cupidie darts; yet, alas! he is not; even now he cherishes a wound which we fear will prove fatal. FRANK GAVIN, D.B.
