CONSTITUTlON AND BY-LAWS OF THE Society of Alumni of the Hughes High-School. PREAMBLE. We, the undersigned, graduates of the Cincinnati Hughes High School, believing a bbnd of union after the severance of school ties to be conducive'to our happiness, do, for and to that end, hereby form ourselves into an Association with the following Constitution and By-Laws: . CONSTITUTION, ARTICLE I. This, Association shall be known as the Society of Alumni of the Hughes High School. ARTICLE 11. Its thcers shall consist ot'a President, Recording and Correslgonding Secretaries, and Treasurer, who together shall form an Executive Board, and of a Vice-President from each clvass, all of whom, shall be elected annually, at the regular meeting, on the first Friday, following the second Monday in September, and who shall hold their ofhces until their successors are duly elected and qualified.

10 CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS. ARTICLE III. SECTION I. ' It shall be the duty of the officers to perform such duties as usually appertain to their respective positions. and, in addition thereto, the ViceePresidents shall, at the Annual Summer Meeting, present a full report of their respective classes. I SEC. 2. It'shall be the duty of the Executive Board, during the intervals of the meetings of the Society, to transact such business as in their judgment will promote its best interests. and they shall report their action at the ensuing meeting of the As-sociatioh. SEC. 3. The members of the Executive Board, at the time of their election, shall be residents of the city of Cincinnati. ARTICLE IV. SECTION 1. The membership of the Society shall consist of all graduates of Hughes High School. SEC. 2. The Honorary Members of the Society shall consist of the teachers in the Hughes High School, such persons as are married into the Society, and such other persons as shall by a special vote be chosen. ARTICLE V. The Articles of this Constitution, or any part of them, may be altered or annulled at any meeting of the Society, by a vote of two- thirds of the constitutional members present. BY-LAWS. I, The Society shall have four regular meetings: one to be held on the first Friday evening following the second Monday in September: the second during the holiday week; the third, on the Friday evening follow- ing the second Monday in March; and the fourth on the evening follow- ing ltCommencement Day 'l of the Hughes High School. Further. the first and third of these meetings shall be principally of a business nature; r . ,M
