The Senior Class of Huffman High will move on to better things, but we will not forget the school or the teachers who gave us the spirit of fun through the pep rallies, homecoming activities, football games, and our achievements of learning in such things as academic bowls, math tournaments, and all out competition in the classrooms. Huffman has surrounded us with special people and memories that we can cherish. It is in our hearts that we, the Senior Class of 1987, shall cherish Huffman High School for years to come. 4 Senior Division

In keeping with tradition, the faculty is given the responsibility of selecting a young man and a young lady as the Huffman High School Warrior and Malden. The honor is bestowed upon two students of outstanding character, and scholastic and leadership ability, who have given unselfishly of themselves to the School's purpose. It is with great pleasure that the Valhalla presents the 1987 Warrior and Maiden — Jeff Shores and Shalita McCugh Jeff Shores is the editor of the yearbook which is a very busy job within itself In addition to being editor, Jeff Is a member of the National Honor Society, has also served In the S.G A. Senate and Cabinet He has also received one of the University of Alabama Alumni Awards and was selected Who’s Who Amog American High School Students. Shalita McCugh who is Head Valorette is also actively involved In a variety of activities and clubs. She was voted the most talented by her classmates, and Is serving as the Senior Class Secretary, and a member of the Honorary Histoncal Society. F.H.A., F.BL.A., Concert Choir, Girls’ Ensemble. S.G A and AGAPE. She was also selected Who’s Who Among American High School Students 6 1987 Wamor And Maiden
