PRESERVING THE VIKING LEGACY.” dwells on remembering and preserving the memories of the past year at Huffman High School. Our goal is to recollect the fun times had this year in one volume, while at the same time appreciating a little of our Viking heritage. Our memories of Huffman are treasures we will cherish for years, for they will be forever embedded in our minds. We will be able to open our yearbooks in the future and laugh at the pictures of old friends or satisfy our yearning to look back at the past to reflect on old times. We will. In the future, be able to recount the events gone by . . the plays, pep rallies, exams. Homecoming, the Prom, sports, and club activities. These various aspects of school will always fill our minds with pride and spirit in our high school, as well as entertain us in the years to come. Rick Renshaw

STUDENT A Junior once did the unforgivable by parking m a Senior space So. his little Honda was literally “picked Up” and “politely moved by a select group of Senior . This was one incident that occurred after numbered park ing spaces were assigned'to the students. Corresponding numbered stickers were placed on “the left side of the vehicle’s bumper. Seniors had priority over space assignments, so they never worried about not being able to pur chase parking places. Both Seniors and. Juniors seemed happy not to have to hurry to school, just to find a place to park. Some Juniors complained'about “belated” sixteenth birthdays since the purchasing of spaces had been done early In the first weeks of school and they would have to wait for the next year or for spaces to come available. Sophomores and Freshmen could hot purchase stickers, not only because most were not old enough to drive, but ' because there were not enough parking areas to accommodate them. It was a new .concept to get used to, yet it benefited, not to mention relieved, the majority. ; v;r. . Jj, • - ■ '. ) 1,v.'• ■: v Kayron Prevail 1
