“WE’RE THE CLASS THAT REALLY TICKS. WE RE THE SENIORS OF 86!’ We. the seniors of 1986. saw many changes that we will remember for a long time o come. For instance, for two years we had been engaged in the parking war out hi the parking lot. It was always First come, first served.” if we weren't here by 7:30 in the morning, our chances of getting a good place to park were slim or nil. If we were unfortunate enough to be late, we might as well have parked over In front of Bargain Town, but. in 1986 we were assigned parking spaces and I.D. stickers to solve the problem. Also, we were '‘given (for four bucks) lockers with built-in combination Jocks. A rare oddity occurred when the seniors weren't able to win a pep rally for the first five games It looked as though we were going to repeat our freshman year; remember how “fun that was? But after some reorganizing and regrouping, and a little help from the spirit committee bakery, we managed to win. That was nice, considering we were shut out for five attempts by people such as Pee Wee Herman. Rocky Balboa.” Crockett and Tubbs, “Colonel Sanders. and Buckwheat. But our Joy of victory didn’t last long; we must have been taboo for the football team because they lost their first game on the same day. Not only will we remember the changes, but memories of other things will always be present in our minds, such as old coke and new coke, the Miami Vice clothes styles, and Bobby Smiles. As we prepare to start new lives, some of us reluctantly, we will always remember the fads, fashions, activities, and friendships that we left behind as our legacy to Huffman. Rick Renshaw
