The price for the lockers, four dollars, was also an unexpected surprise. For an additional shock students were assigned “locker periods. times before school, between study and lunch, and after school when they could go to their lockers. The majority of students were pleased with the slight modification of the locker rules and adjusted well to the'concept of “restored lockers. T racie Sides

STUDENT A Junior once did the unforgivable by parking m a Senior space So. his little Honda was literally “picked Up” and “politely moved by a select group of Senior . This was one incident that occurred after numbered park ing spaces were assigned'to the students. Corresponding numbered stickers were placed on “the left side of the vehicle’s bumper. Seniors had priority over space assignments, so they never worried about not being able to pur chase parking places. Both Seniors and. Juniors seemed happy not to have to hurry to school, just to find a place to park. Some Juniors complained'about “belated” sixteenth birthdays since the purchasing of spaces had been done early In the first weeks of school and they would have to wait for the next year or for spaces to come available. Sophomores and Freshmen could hot purchase stickers, not only because most were not old enough to drive, but ' because there were not enough parking areas to accommodate them.
