If by my work through life I can Another soul unfold, Then I have done what cannot be Made good, by praise or gold. One tiny thought in tiny word May give a great one birth, And, if that thought was caused by me, I lived a life of worth. -Richard Wolfe April 23, 1953 - July 25, 1969 I remember David in three ways. First of all, he was a clean young man. Iremember very well the times I saw him. He was always neatly and appropriately dressed. Even inlhis old blue jeans, he was neat and clean. He was also clean in speech and character. Secondly, David was cheerful. His fellow students and neighbors looked forward to the smile on his face and his cheerful hello when he passed by. Thirdly and most important, David was a Christ- ian. I had the joyous priviledge of baptising him. He was dedicated to a wonderful cause and showed a great spirit in doing things for others, Reverend Shelly Ezell The year gets if , in Q. 61,- A ,' 4,1 gm- ? sw, at 4 1' ' a Q-,iffcf 7' ? Personifying the hidden strength of the chill seas on which he sailed, the warrior was admired for his physical prow- ess, respected for his dynamic character. The maiden symbolized purity, beauty, and piety - the fairest flower of Nordic womanhood. In like fashion, the Valhalla staff seeks to recog- nize a young man and young woman who ex- emplify in many ways the total Huffman High student. Selected for their varied contributions to student welfare and maintenance of out- standing academic status, Mike Stewart and Anne Gilbert reign as 1970 Warrior and Maiden. It is to be noted that the two were ad- judged such by the faculty, which scrutinized thecredentials of many capable students bejl ore bestowing these honors upon Mike and Anne.
